I spend my life between two very different worlds.
One, rewards speed. The other, rewards patience.
This website is where those two worlds meet.
I’m an international hockey player for England and Great Britain, and an aspiring novelist.
For a long time, I thought those were two separate parts of my life.
One demanded intensity, structure and performance.
The other asked for patience, uncertainty and imagination.
The more time I’ve spent in both, the more I’ve realised they’re connected by the same qualities: discipline, curiosity, and the willingness to begin again.
This website is a home for the things that don’t fit neatly into a match report or social media post.
